DIVAS for Social Justice have partnered with Together Green Fellow Ajamu Brown to create an interactive green mapping project of the gardens in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn. The youth of DIVAS for Social Justice will be filming the interviews with the gardeners of Bed Stuy and they will be placed on the interactive green map. Here is a clip from the orientation meeting on April 11, 2010.

DIBS

The young women of DIVAS for Social Justice created and implemented a program to train senior citizens in digital photography to give back to their communities by bridging the inter-generational as well as digital divide. The Senior Citizens learned basic photography skills as well as beginners Photoshop. DIVAS for Social Justice would like to thank Restoration Plaza for providing our organization with a space to run our program.
