Gwen Lewis of Lewis Gallery has generously volunteered her time and taught our older members the art of custom framing for our photo exhibition.

The Imaging Ourselves Program had a great session with board member Clare Ultimo creating and discussing magazine covers. They also were able to show Clare their latest animation based on a friendship tag design by Clare.

DIVAS for Social Justice is grateful to sound engineer Shawn Walsh! Shawn Walsh secured a major equipment donation on behalf of The People’s Court and the studio she works for.

June 24th – Brooklyn College: DIVAS for Social Justice was the recipient of the Leading by Giving Grand Award. The award winner is chosen by leading civic and religious leaders in Brooklyn.
